UnionPay introduces Huawei Pay in Russia

The national system of payment cards in cooperation with UnionPay International has developed a system of digital protection of online payments. To ensure the safety of online commerce, NSPK has developed a special algorithm based on the EMV 3-D Secure 2.0 protocol. Using this security system, cardholders can not worry about the safety of their funds and the confidentiality of their data. The new service was tested by MinBank, USS NBCO and Compass Plus. The evaluation of the latter company was particularly inportant, as it is an international provider of software products in the digital payment industry. Another important decision was the step of the National Payment Card System towards tokenization. Thanks to the new service of NSPK, UnionPay cardholders can add their account to the mobile phone, replacing the data with a personal token. This will ensure maximum protection of user information. Innovative service has already been tested by representatives of Gazprombank and Russian Agricultural Bank.

According to Fang Jiguang, head of the Russian branch of UnionPay International, thanks to the agreement of the company with NSPC and other partners, their organization has made a breakthrough in the last few years. The new service will allow UnionPay cardholders in Russia to enjoy safe and convenient online and mobile payment services. He also noted that in the future UnionPay and NSPC will continue to deepen cooperation in order to optimize services for Russian customers. The CEO of NSPC, Vladimir Komlev, also noted that UnionPay is an important partner of the NSPK. He said that they are developing cooperation with this corporation in several directions and are not going to stop there.
